Classification Of Outdoor Propane Heaters

Demands of outdoor propane heaters are becoming widespread these days. Usually people use these for outdoor purposes like restaurants, backyards, patios and garages. Sometimes people are using these for their indoor use too. But it is recommended to stay away from doing so as it may be hazardous. It is also advised to remain careful about the frequent transfer of outdoor heaters to avoid accidental occurrences.

Outdoor propane heaters are portable enough that you can use them in patios, any outdoor events and even in construction sites. Since there are many different types of propane heaters there heat production capacity also differs from each other. Hence it is necessary to consider the area according to the heat production or output. The most popular type of outdoor propane heaters are convection type, infrared type, and forced air type.

Convection type propane heaters can be set up on the floor of outdoors. They mainly work by taking up heat from the bottom and it releases warm air through the top. These heaters do not need any fan to increase heat and reduce the coldness of air. This type of heaters is used mostly in garage and warehouses.

Infrared type propane heaters are popularly used in patio like areas. They can spread heat even in the blustery condition. These heaters come with reflective cover that disperses heat through the area. If you are looking for outdoor heater for your patio or backyard, you may choose one of these infrared propane heaters.

Forced air heater utilizes gas and electricity simultaneously and spreads the air through a fan. Electricity is needed to run the fan and the propane gas fuels the heating component. These heaters are good for warehouse and garages.

You need to be cautious about handling and using outdoor propane heaters. Keep minimum 6 feet distance between gas cylinder and the heater. Also keep aside unused cylinders at least 20 feet away from the heater. Make sure that outside heaters are properly installed and kept in safest place that no one will trip over them. In addition, keep away from fire or open flames to avoid dangers. Safe use of propane heaters will be more benefited for long time.
